About the Artist

Underlying all of Jean's work is the desire to create beauty and share it with others. She has been involved in artistic creations throughout her life, currently settling on oil and watercolor painting. Jean's work has both an impressionistic and expressionistic flavor. Often she focuses on something whimsical, something conceptual or some small aspect of a scene. Jean appreciates the play of pigment and water in watercolor as well as the rich buttery quality of oil paint.  Occasionally she creates prints as well. Her motto is "It's all good!"
